Streamside Infill
Arterial Retrofits
Undergraduate Community Design Studio
Streamside infill was the third urban design studio of my Urban Design Specialization based in Kitchener, Ontario. The project housed Fairview Park, a old, 19th century mall with out-to-date architectural design surrounded by vast parking lots. This was coupled with surrounding plazas and big industrial sites that brought in on- going traffic from personal-vehicles and commercial trucks on to Fairway Road South. The purpose of the project was to introduce sustainable measures, complete streets and place-making concepts through altered and preserved buildings.
